Natalie and Peter were married at the stunning Royal Liver Building right on the docks, in Liverpool. I knew this was going to be a incredibly special day. I’ve always wanted to visit the Royal Liver Building as it’s such a beautiful iconic building. I had worked at Louise & Kenny’s Mal Mason wedding near there the year before but couldn’t quite get close enough for some photos. But to have the privilege of actually working at one of the first weddings there was so very special. I met up with a very cool Natalie and her girls at the Mal Maison hotel around the corner to cover the bridal preparations. Not long after I was walking over to meet Peter at The Liver Building before the ceremony. Everything looked perfect, freshly decorated with a modern clean design it was all like a blank canvas inside, ready for Natalie and Peter and one of the first weddings to be held there. I did have a moment of panic, I managed to find the only faulty lift that took me to one of the floors under construction, and wouldn’t let me down again. Luckily I found the staircase hidden away, phew.

The ceremony and reception was fantastic, I took Natalie and Peter around the amazing docks around The Royal Liver Building for some awesome portrait photos, they were fantastic to work with and I also got some great early sunset photos which look great. Just a perfect day all round and we couldn’t have asked for better weather too.
