For Samantha and Colin’s wedding, I was back in Wrexham for their wedding at St Paul’s Church in the village of New Broughton. Their reception was held at the beautiful Llyndir Hall near Rossett, which is just outside Wrexham and Chester. Llyndir Hall is lovely venue and perfect for wedding photography, inside and out there is so much to choose from. To start the day, I met up with Samantha and her bridesmaids for photos of the bridal preparations and to see how they were all doing. Lucky for me, her house is only 5 minutes from my mine so I didn’t have to worry about travelling.
After photos of the bridal preparations were finished, I then met up with Colin and his groomsmen at St Paul’s Church for a few photos before it was time to go in. Clouds were beginning to fill the sky and although we were expecting rain, the blue skies and sunshine told us otherwise. Just as Samantha arrives in her wedding car, it started to rain. Not that it bothered Samantha, it was time to get married. The wedding ceremony was lovely, I was lucky to get where I always want to be, at the front to see all the action. After some touching closing words it was time to face the rain, but luckily it was back to blue skies and sunshine, though this is not always a good thing for wedding photography.
Next it was on to Llyndir Hall, which is only a short drive away. On arrival and after a sip of bubbly, we went straight into the wedding portraits and explore the beautiful gardens surrounding the stunning wedding venue, and we had a great time. Samantha and Colin were brilliant to work with, we could of stayed out all afternoon. Not long after, it was straight in for the wedding breakfast and speeches. Before I knew it the night do was kicking off. What a special day it was and I wish you both all the best for your future together. Thanks for letting Peter Wynne Photography be part of you day.
