Arley Hall wedding photography

I love being a wedding photographer and Saturday was the long awaited wedding of my friends, Nicola and Charlie, at the stunning Arley Hall and gardens located in the depths of the equally stunning Cheshire countryside. After all the frequent conversations we had over the year or so, the time finally arrived….very quickly too. Its always special when a friend asks you to do something so personal and yet so important such as photograph one of the best day of their lives. It was an honour and a privilege.

Days before the wedding, I can imagine quite a few people checking the weather forecast for Arley but I dont think anyone was prepared for the hottest and clearest September days, I did feel sorry for the grooms men in their black suits. It was absolutely perfect and although us photographers prefer overcast skies that soften the light, the vast choice of settings within Arley Hall’s gardens meant I didnt have to go far to get a different shot. That leads me to Arley Hall itself, it was my first time working there and my wedding photographer friends had told me how stunning it is, when I got there and saw with my own eyes, it didn’t take long to be completely absorbed by how stunning it really is.

Suffice to say, the day vanished. After lots of work and lots of catching up with friends, dancing etc. It was time to leave, mind you at 2am I was ready for bed. Thanks to Nicola and Charlie for allowing me to photograph your amazing day, and thanks for having me as a guest too, I had an amazing day. I hope you have a fantastic honeymoon and I cant wait to show you the rest of the photos.
