The wedding of Elaine and Robert was held at St Phillips Church in Alderly Edge, Manchester and the reception was at the fantastic Mottram Hall Hotel set in the gorgeous Cheshire countryside. The day started at Mottram Hall for photos of the bridal preparations and I also caught up to the guys before they left for the church. As a wedding photographer I tend to see all sorts of emotions before the wedding but Elaine and Robert were as calm as they come. I think Robert was the most nervous but I knew he was really looking forward to seeing how stunning Elaine looked.
After photos of the wedding preparations were finished I headed over to St Phillips to get settled and speak to the minister to make sure they are happy with me being where I want to be, also to make sure Im ready to capture the brides arrival. I also met up with the super talented Rebbeca Reville Wedding Films to discuss where each other will be so we don’t end up stepping on each other’s toes, something I always do so we all work happily together. After the brides arrival I was able to get a few photos before the ceremony and sneak in to take my place, unfortunately I was told to remain at the back of the church during the wedding ceremony, but I was allowed to take a few photos from the front of the bride walking down the aisle.
Once the beautiful ceremony was over we headed outside for some wedding photos before heading over to Mottram Hall to explore the fantastic gardens. We did get a bit carried away but Elaine and Robert were fantastic to work with and I was so pleased with the photos, and importantly they were so they. Mottram Hall is a fantastic wedding venue, from the stunning grounds to the excellent service guests kept praising.
The rest of the day completely vanished but it was an amazing day and I had a great time working with Elaine and Robert. Congratulations and I wish you all the best for the future. Thanks for allowing me to be your wedding photographer.
