Back last May I was part of the stunning Lancashire wedding of Rachel and Robert. It was held at St Marys Church in Fleetwood, Lancashire and the reception took place and the gorgeous North Euston Hotel set next to the beautiful Fleetwood Coast. I had a nice an early start at Rachel’s Parents house for photos of the bridal preparations. Luckily the cold and heavy rain didn’t spoil my journey up North, but I knew it might dampen things later in the day, not that I let it spoil my work. A good wedding photographer can deal with all weather and find some nice and cosy interiors.

After spending some quality time with Rachel and her bridesmaids I made my way to meet up with Robert and his groomsmen, still battling with the rain we found a dry spell and got some photos outside the church before Rachel’s arrival. Arriving in style with a vintage VW Camper Van Rachel was nervous, excited and ready to get married, not even the rain was going to stop her. The ceremony was lovely, the happy couple couldn’t stop looking at each other and smiling which is sometimes rare due to nerves, it makes my job of capturing emotional ceremonies easier too.

Shortly after the ceremony, we headed off to the North Euston Hotel and luckily for us the rain stopped and even the sun was trying to come out which meant we could venture outside for some portraits, they were a joy to work with, relaxed, fun and happy to brave the damp outside. What struck me the most was the chemistry with each other, it truly was the best day of their lives and it showed. I got some amazing photos.

What followed was an amazing meal at the North Euston Hotel, touching speeches, Casino with special Robert and Rachel currency, Photobooth courtesy of ZT Photography and a fantastic night do. I had an amazing day working with an amazing couple, thanks for allowing me to be part of your special day and I wish you both the best for your future together.
