Back in April I was lucky to be the wedding photographer for the lovely Nikki & Stuart. They were married at a gorgeous church in North Wales near Penymynydd with the reception at the Grosvenor in Pulford. Sadly the minister performing the ceremony was very strict, banishing me to the back of the church and allowing me to only take 2 photos during the ceremony, and she even issued me with a chaperone to ensure I complied. As compliant as I was I still managed to capture some great moments…..and a few sneaky ones too. It was a beautiful wedding ceremony and Im glad I did take a few risks. After the ceremony was over we ventured into the cold for some photos of the wedding party and the obligatory confetti throwing, and this was by far my favourite confetti shot of the year, so far. Love it.
Shortly after making a huge mess of confetti, we headed over to the fantastic Grosvenor in Pulford thanks to John from the fantastic Chester Wedding Cars for the drinks reception and some photos with the gorgeous cars and the stunning gardens. Although it was bitterly cold, the sheltered Japanese gardens at the Grosvenor Pulford were perfect and I was able to get some amazing photos of the happy couple. The wedding breakfast followed shortly after followed by some great speeches and then straight onto the night do, they are expects at the Grosvenor Pulford and everything as always ran like clockwork.
What an amazing day I had working with Nikki and Stuart, you have some amazing friends and family and I really felt like a guest of honour at your fantastic wedding. I wish you all the best for your future together and thanks for allowing me to capture your wedding day.
