Kaye and Andrew were married at the fantastic Grosvenor in Pulford located in the beautiful Cheshire countryside near Chester. The sun was shining down on a bitterly cold January weekend, just after the snow had passed, but we were determined to make the most of the sunshine. The day started at the Grosvenor Pulford for photography of the bridal preparations and to meet the rest of the bridal party. Lucky for me the whole day was at the Grosvenor so there was no worry about travelling, something I love….especially on really cold icy days.
After a beautiful wedding ceremony….and a few hot drinks to warm everyone up, we headed outside for some photos. Starting with a group photo of the whole wedding party I was able to take the bridal party over to the famous Grosvenor Pulford bridge for a few more. The cold however was starting to bite, I have never worked in such cold conditions at a wedding and I really felt sorry for the bride and her bridesmaids, the guys were fine in their thick woollen suits however. I very nearly accepted a hot cup of tea…something I never drink. We all headed back in to defrost and get a drink but I was determined to get them outside again. Luckily, the Japanese garden at the back of the Spa is well sheltered and we were able to venture outside once more for a few photos before the wedding breakfast and I got some stunning shots, well worth facing the cold again.
What an awesome day we had, Kaye and Andrew are true superstars and I loved working with them. Congratulations to both of you and I wish you all the best for the future. Thanks for letting me part of your wonderful wedding day.
