The beautiful wedding of Heather and Carl was held at the fantastic Craxton Wood Hotel near Chester in Cheshire. After a long spell of cold, wet and snowy weather, we were blessed with clear skies and warm bright sunshine and what a perfect wedding it was goes to be. I met up with Heather for the bridal preparations at Craxton Wood, luckily Carl was staying just a few doors down, this made things a little bit easier for me to get some of the guys getting ready too.

As it was a small wedding, the staff at Craxton Wood had setup the smaller conservatory for the ceremony and it looked great. I soon headed down to get into position for the wedding ceremony and although Carl was nervous, he could not wait to see Heather. He was stunned when he first saw her and her father walking down the aisle, she did look rather stunning. After a short ceremony the drinks were served outside and it was time to get some portraits. Craxton Wood have some fantastic grounds at the back and to the front, perfect for some gorgeous photos of Heather and Carl.

While they were having their wedding breakfast, I worked on the photos for the evening slideshow that they had ordered, its a brilliant way see have a sneak peak at your photos and it also gives your guests a preview of the day. They were super excited and couldn’t wait to see it. We then headed over to the Neston Cricket Club for the evening reception, I quickly set up the slideshow before taking some more photos of the happy couple during the early evening and I got some stunning sunset shots. The evening was a blur and the slideshow was a major success, there’s nothing quite like hearing guests say how amazing the photos are, I was really pleased and it was a fantastic end to a perfect day.
