In June last year I found myself back in one of my favouring wedding venues, the fantastic Nunsmere Hall for Frances and Neil’s wedding. Set in the stunning Cheshire countryside not far from Northwich, Nunsmere Hall is well sought after for its stunning boutique English county hall and its gorgeous gardens. It even has its own forest and lake too, what more can a Wedding Photographer like me ask for. All the wedding was set at Nunsmere so the stress of travelling around wasn’t a worry and the weather was perfect, blue skies with some clouds, a good combination for wedding photography. I met up with Frances for some photos of the bridal preparations and found that she was one of the coolest brides of the year, she was just taking her time and enjoying her day. Calm brides makes my job easier and she was a superstar.
Once Frances was ready and after some final photos with her and her bridesmaids, I left them alone while I met up with Neil and his best men for some photos in the gardens. All the guests had arrived and were outside enjoying the sunshine with some refreshing drinks. Shortly after it was time for the ceremony so I headed back to meet Frances for a few more photos before finding my place at the front of the ceremony room, best place to be too. After a lovely ceremony along with some touching readings it was time to head outside for the drinks reception. I manage this time to give the bride and groom some alone time with their guests and have a drink before whisking them away to explore the grounds of Nunsmere Hall including the brief walk down to the lake. We had a great time but I knew I had to get them back for some family group shots and settle down for their wedding breakfast.
I had an amazing afternoon working with such a brilliant couple, I wish you both a long happy life together and thanks for letting me be part of your special day.
