Oaklands Hotel Wedding Photography

I had the pleasure of working with Carrie & Craig for their wedding at Barnton Christ Church on the 1st May and then onto the Oaklands Hotel for the reception. The weather was glorious, although it did rain in the evening, it did’nt dampen anyone’s spirits. I spent the whole day with them to make sure I did’nt miss a moment, and I had a great day. Here are a selection of photos from the day.

Day started with some detail photos at the Bride’s mums house.

Then onto the hairdressers for some interesting getting ready photos

Quickly went to the reception venue for some photos while I waited for the Bride and Bridesmaids to finish up at the hairdressers.

This curious little fellow followed me wherever I went.

Back to the bride’s mums house for the final preparations.

At the church, I was only permitted to take photos at the back of the church. I was lucky to have a good zoom lens with me.

Thanks to some disco lights, the first dance was lit perfectly.
