Abbeywood Estate Wedding Photographer

Jess and Matt’s wedding was held at the beautiful Abbeywood Estate and Gardens which is near Delamere Forest in Cheshire. Abbeywood is such a lovely setting for a venue, it has it all and I just love working there. My day started with Jess and her girls for the wedding preparation photos at the main house. Everyone was excited and really having fun, Jess did confess that she was a little nervous but she was clearly very excited. I popped out to meet up with Matt and his groomsmen for some photos, then quickly had a chat with the registrars making sure I wouldn’t be in their way during the ceremony. I hate being intrusive, I always prefer to blend away into the background ensuring I capture the wedding as it happens so that everyone enjoys the day without being bothered.

The wedding ceremony

Shortly after I headed back over to the bridal party and everyone was ready to go. I got some photos outside the house as it’s such a lovely building before walking them over to the ceremony and getting into place. The wedding ceremony was beautiful, the readings their friends gave were personal and very touching, perfect for getting the emotions going. After the ceremony, we all headed outside for the drinks reception where I left everyone alone and focused on some natural photography before getting everyone I needed for the formal portraits. The gardens at Abbeywood Estate are stunning and perfect for wedding photography, and I knew we were in for a fantastic sunset later in the evening too. Once I was finished with the formal photos I wrapped things up with a whole party photo before we all made our way the the wedding breakfast and speeches.

It was a lovely day, I was able to get some incredible sunset photos just after the speeches before covering the evening reception. Jess and Matt rock, thanks so much was letting me be part of your day and I wish you all the best for your future together.
