Back last October I was at the stunning wedding of Louise and Barry at the equally stunning Thornton Manor, near the village of Thornton Hough in Cheshire. When I first met Louise and Barry I was knocked over by how much love they have for each other, and I knew they would be an amazing couple to work with. They are also a lovely couple too, getting on well together was easy with this couple. This is so important when you are spending so much time together at their wedding, at this also shows in the final photos too.

I love working at Thornton Hall, they have some amazing gardens set in the stunning Cheshire countryside that look even better when the sun comes out, and we were in luck. With just a few clouds in the sky and a cool October breeze blowing, I knew I was going to get some great photos. I was spoilt for choice too, the lake at the front of the hotel is surrounded by some lovely autumn coloured trees and I got some gorgeous photos of Louise and Barry under the gazebo in front of the lake, catching their reflection at the same time. The gardens at the rear also has some amazing locations, with more autumn trees to get some lovely colours into the portraits, we could of spent all day there.

I always make an effort to have a few more portraits after the wedding breakfast, bring October it was dark fairly quickly but that doesn’t stop me, with a few carefully positioned lights I was able to get some great evening portraits.

What an amazing day it was, Louise and Barry were great to work with and I had a fantastic day. I hope you have an amazing life together and it was a privilege being your wedding photographer.
