The wedding of Ffion and Jon was held at the gorgeous Trevor Villa Barn, now recently called Tower Hill Barns in a village called Trevor just outside Wrexham. The day started at the bridal preparations at Ffion’s parents house not far from me in Wrexham, and things were as cool as they come, a great way to start a wedding. After the preparations and taking the final photos of Ffion in her stunning dress, it was time to make my way to Trevor Villa Barn which was only a brief drive away. Its such a lovely wedding venue and since this wedding they have really extended and transformed it. Despite the looming rain, the ceremony was going to take place in the gardens outside….perfect. And just in case, the staff had put up a large gazebo to keep the guests dry should the rain turn up. The ceremony was lovely and very personal, they had some really heart warming readings which brought out some lovely emotions. Shortly after, I was able to explore the stunning gardens with Ffion and Jon and get some stunning photos while their wedding guests enjoyed the drinks reception. I normally like to leave the bride and groom with their guests for a while after their ceremony but the threat of rain meant I wanted to make sure I got some photos outside and Ffion and Jon were happy to agree. I had planned on doing the small amount of formal group photos just before the wedding breakfast so their guests could enjoy their drinks.
