The wedding of Paula and Neal took place at the beautiful Plas Hafod Hotel in Mold, North Wales. Ive photographed weddings here several times before but none were as challenging as this rain soaked day last August. The rain was relentless, it just never stopped, even for a moment. This meant photography in Plas Hafod’s wonderful gardens couldn’t be explored, aside from venturing a few meters from the door with some umbrellas. Nevertheless, the weather didn’t put anyone off having a good time, especially me. I had a fantastic day working with such a lovely family, I really did feel like a lucky guest.
