The lovely Nikki and Anthony were married at the fantastic Grosvenor in Pulford located close to Chester and set in the beautiful Cheshire village of Pulford. The sun was shining and I knew the weather was going to behave itself…for once. I met up with Nikki at the Grosvenor Pulford for photos of the wedding preparations and what an amazing morning we had, everyone was so relaxed and really soaking up the pre wedding atmosphere, a perfect start to a wedding. I made sure I had enough time to meet up with Anthony and his best man for some photos outside before they headed to the Grosvenor suite. Anthony, a little more nervous than Nikki but excited to see his gorgeous bride to be walking down the aisle.

After meeting back up with Nikki, we made our way to the Grosvenor suite for the wedding ceremony. It always feels like a long walk to get there from the hotel room but I try to keep her calm and relaxed before I head in to the ceremony room to capture their arrival. While waiting I was watching Anthony closely, looking for any emotional slips but he got me….he was steady as a rock. I also use this time to takes some shots of their wedding guests too. It wasn’t long before the music started and the ceremony was on the way.

After the lovely wedding ceremony we headed outside for the drinks reception and the bridal portraits. My usual plan is to leave the bride and groom alone for a good 15 minutes so they can talk to their guests and just relax for a bit. I knew I didn’t have a huge amount of group photos to do so I just focused on documenting before whisking the happy couple away to explore the amazing gardens the Grosvenor has to offer. I just love the Japanese garden and I always feel I have it all to ourselves.

The rest of the day was a blur, but a fantastic day. It was amazing working with yet another fun couple and I had a lovely day with Nikki and Anthony, you both rock! I wish you both an amazing life together and thanks again for letting me be part of your stunning wedding.
